When my parents came back from Tennessee last week, they brought the grandkittens a surprise...

Caturday Saturday: On a Tuesday...

Yeah yeah, I know...It isn't Saturday, but that doesn't mean I can't dream. This week is quite groggy and I can't put my finger on why. Anywho! Here are the fur babies from last week:

That is a clip of Jackson. You may need to turn up your speakers, but in the first few seconds you can hear him chirping. Yes...like a bird...Jackson is by far our quirkiest cat. He chirps, meows and barks/growls.

I came home from work the other night and this is what I walked in to see:

I absolutely love seeing the cats hang out with my dad. People can laugh, but for right now this is our life and I love it.

The cats were found this morning, chilling under the bed. 

Maybe they are hiding from the kids...or maybe they know what is coming later today: BATHTIME!

Caturday Saturday: Elliot's toy box adventure

The other night after the kids went to bed, Elliot decided she would entertain herself. Luckily, I had the camera out to document the adventure:

Elliot walked over to her boxes of toys and clothing. Yes, earlier that night I had been showing off my cats' wardrobe.

She took it over to her corner.

She stepped on it some.

Then threw it around.

This is after I threw it to her, she likes to play fetch.

It rolled away after a while.

So she rolled over and zonked out.

Caturday Saturday: Sword Fights and Boxes

At Target, Tim and I bought a sword and an ax to use for settling marital disagreements. Tonight, we tried them out on the cats. Scooby was into it, Elliot was more interested in other things.

I love when cats walk around like little humans.

Caturday Saturday: Where are Nana and Papa???

So, my parents have been in Hawaii all week and the cats are certainly missing them. Well, mainly papa. Jackson loves to spend time in his papa's lap. They spend lots of quality time together while papa watches TV. Without papa here Jackson has been going nuts. He is my constant shadow and sometimes just wants me to carry him around like a child.

Also, since papa is the first person to wake up he feeds all three cats. The first morning the parents were gone the cats all three lined up outside my dad's bedroom door- waiting. As if he was going to come out at any minute. But he didn't. They have since learned how much easier I am to wake up since I sleep with the door open.

They are certainly lonely without their nana as well. I hear from time to time she gives them all a treat during their long day-time hours together. :)
